i recently went to delete the vats on my 5.3 and i had to use a different bin file than what was on it because there was no xdf. all i went in to do was remove the vats which was succesful but now my motor wont rev past 3500 rpm it will only hold to there and when the pedal is pushed past 3500 the motor almost shuts off and then comes back at 3500 if someone could point me in the right direction to look it would be appreciated. thanks.

the bin file i used is one for an 03 sierra and the os is 12587603 and i used the matching xdf file.

Can you describe your engine? Drive by cable or wire? Any other mods?

Hopefully you saved a copy of your original .bin
I have a '04 un-modified file that did not have VATS from factory '7603 My truck is DBW though. Your '03 could have been DBC, if it is DBW I can send you my file and see if it works.

12587603 is a 04 OS. Post the year make and model of your truck and the VIN # and I'll straighten it out.

'7603 is the universal donor for all P59 pcms, as it is the only one with a detailed and working .xdf, unless one is using HP Tuners.
Using Tuner Pro, unless something has come out in the last month.

I got it figured out. It was an abuse management section once I disabled it it worked well. Thanks for all the help and providing bin files
