Hello, my name is Jeff. I have a'86 cheverolet truck that is my project/daily driver. It has a 350 from a90' vette that I rebuilt for power. I started off with the fuel injection but could not get itright so I have been in search of help. Heard about your site from a member and joined. I spent 17 years wrong at GM dealership and a lifetime racing several different things. I have worked on a lot of these engines in the past, now a work on autmated equipment like robots and anything with a PLC. Seems like you have a nice site here, hope to learn a great deal.

I will answer anything I can. Right know I feel out of place because I don't know the language. I look forward to getting this thing on EFI, probably raise the numbers on it quite a bit.

I am fimilar with most of these terms, I was referring to the hexadecimal conversation I am seeing. I know that it is talking about a specific function but I don't know which one. lol..
Give me a week or two and I will get the hang of it. I am just starting to play with TunerPro RT so I think I will catch up fine. I am interested in finding out how much more power I can get with the program.

Don't worry about hex, read the TunerPro write up, get the TP software and correct files for your rig and push buttons! You'll see all the info is in english.

What ECM do you have? Do you know the chip code/BCC?

Sorry for the delay, work has been crazy.

The ECM is Part number 16197128 and the code on the chip is ANHT 4298.

Welcome to $8D ! Your ECM number is a newer GM part number that normally goes by 1227727. It is the weather prroof underhood model of 1227730, or at least that is what the ANHT came with.
