Apparently the gearhead-efi OBD1 library does not have definition $41 for the 1227746 ECM.

Perhaps converting to a different ECM like the 1227747 is an option?

Perhap$ purchasing the $41 definition file from TunerCats is an option? http://www.tunercat.com

Is the zip file tnr_setup.exe?

If so, that's the TunerCats setup file. Go ahead and "run" the tnr_setup.exe

TunerCats is a software package. TunerPro is a software package. Both software packages are totally independent from one another. Tune with TunerCats or tune with TunerPro, it's an either / or choice.

Were you able to figure out how to use TunerCats?

TunerCats is very similar to TunerPro, except there is a cost associated with TunerCats.

TunerCats OBD1 software is $69.95, then a there is the additional cost of a TunerCats definition file of $19.95.

Unfortunately, some definition files are not available or have not be developed due to insufficient interest or popularity for TunerPro. Likely $41 has NOT been developed for TunerPro and likely never will.
