Hello all, I've got a little 82 S15 pickup I'm going to be shoving an 04 5.3 lm4 into, I'm trying to do as much work myself as possible(and spend as little as possible). I was able to get it to fire up with a donor lm7 ecu(os 12587603), I didn't get the original harness or ecu. I edited the stock bin file just enough to delete vats and match vins but it will probably require a lot more tweaks long term. I'll be running electric fans and a ar5 manual trans rather than the 4l60e my ecu is programed for. I already found very help checksum tool Kur4o posted as tuner pro was giving me checksum errors every time I saved my bin file. I'm hoping to find some good segment swap files as I'm not 100 percent sure how happy a lm4 is on a lm7 tune or what it really takes to make it run, idle, and drop rpms properly with a manual transmission.
